I met the Silent Auction coordinator for this event over the weekend at the GSOFamilies Small Business Bazaar. This story touched me. I wanted to share the event and let all of you know about the Silent Auction, and if anyone is interested in contributing - please contact as requested below! Thank you! -Becky
Dear Prospective Partner:
Got Game Fastpitch will be holding a girls fastpitch softball tournament along with a silent auction fundraising event on December 7th & 8th at the Eden YMCA and Freedom Park located in Eden NC. Got Game Fastpitch is a softball travel tournament organization that will host 32 teams in different age brackets on this weekend bringing at least 325 players and their families. All of the funds raised from this event will be used to support a 16 year old that is suffering from a childhood cancer.
Taylor Foster is a 16 year old that loved to play softball until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2010. She relapsed in 2011 and she is still fighting. She loves now to help coach a travel ball team and reach young ladies by inspiring them to never give up and never take things for granted.
We're in the process of collecting merchandise for the event, and I'm writing to request your assistance in making the Got Game Fastpitch’s event a success. By donating an item, you'll be making a tax deductible contribution that will help Taylor Foster continue her fight of cancer.
Additionally, you'll benefit from exposure of your company's name to those who attend the event. The merchandise you give will be on display through the event. As a donor, you'll be invited to attend the event, so you'll be able to meet prospective customers and even possibly find a few bargains of your own.
Won’t you consider donating an item to support Got Game Fastpitch’s event? You may reach me at 336-580-8777, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org by December 5th to let me know how you would like to participate in the Got Game Fastpitch silent auction.
