ACT Fitness
  • “ACT Fitness by Deese off of Dolley Madison and Friendly behind the new walmart express. Very pleased with them and they are such welcoming and great people! However, no child care but there is the stay and play less than 1 minute away! $25/mo no contract. If you sign a 12 month agreement it's $20/mo! Also very affordable personal training if needed!” –Sarah S.
The Club (two locations)
  • “Not sure if it's near you or not, but we like the club. There's two locations. I picked it because they have amazing child care. But their trainers are awesome too.  It pricey but totally worth it. Nancy, the yoga instructor, is amazing.  Lots of classes and options. The little kids are in a cute room with plenty of toys and it's own mini playground. The big kids are in a huge room with games, climbing pads, and a blow up bounce house.” –Leslie W.
  • “We joined The Club and LOVE IT! Yes it is pricey but worth it and you can leave kids over three for 3 hours a day and don't even have to stay on the property. It's cheaper than preschool! Lol” –Lisa H.
  • “The club childcare is fabulous! My 18 month old cried this morning when I picked him up because he didn't want to leave.” –Stephanie F.
  • “We like the club- its clean. the people are nice. the child care is awesome. with a family membership you can have your potty trained child there for 3 hours - even if you aren't in the building (score!). my 3 year old loves to go play…plus they do offer some membership discounts based on where you work.” –Jen B.
  • “The club on lyndew is good” –Tammie A.
  • “I still advise you to look into a trial membership at the Club before discounting it. They have REALLY good childcare-- my kids cry at pick up time it's so good:-)” –Melissa T.
  • “I like everything about The Club. DD took swimming lessons there, but we've yet to bite the bullet on a membership anywhere. If we did, tho, it'd probably be there.” –Susan M.
  • “The Club of Greensboro” –Brooke P.

Gold’s Gym
  • “Absolutely love the KidZone at the Gold's on Wendover. My kids loved when I would go to the gym just so they could go to KidZone. It was also motivation for me to go to the gym. They would ask "Are we going to the gym today?" and you can't really say you don't feel like it when they are just as excited.” –Cicely C.
Heart in Sol
  • "I would like to tell everyone about Heart in Sol. It is a locally owned health/fitness center in Greensboro. They offer zumba classes( adults and kids), yoga, boot camp and personal training. It is a very one on one, personal atmosphere, not like a big gym. I started going to zumba classes there last April to try and get myself healthy for me and my family! Everyone there is so nice and friendly. I've not only made some great friends, but I have lost 34 pounds and now work there as a Zumba instructor! It has something for everyone in the family and they make you feel like family!" - Sarah Beth S.
Planet Fitness
  • “I'm a former Rush member who recently joined Planet Fitness and I am loving it. You can't beat $10 a month, there's no pressure, you can even sign up online and just pick up your membership card when you go the first time. There's a large assortment of machines, plenty of TVs to watch, and it's always very clean. No group classes, though, but that was never something I was really into so not a big deal for me.” –Heather K

I had an incredible feel-like-a-relaxed-mushball, masage with Shandel Johnson. Great technique, super sweet.
